Hello! Welcome to our Family.

We are a non-profit organisation here to help take care of your Dog while supporting others to care for them.

About Us

Our Beliefs

We believe in community engagement. We are set right in the heart of Ipswich in the beautiful Christchurch Park. We believe in making both humans and dogs feel safe and happy in this wonderful environment.

Our ethos is to create a caring environment for people and a place full of enrichment for the doggo’s.

How We Can Help

Doggy Day Care

From the moment paws come through the gate we have a fun filled day! The Dogs have lots of both human and canine company throughout the day.

The start of the day is filled with lots of play time. We do a bit of agility, light training as well as some rest time in our nice new soft area.

Doggies will have walks, agility training, basic grooming, and lots of fun!

The Upper Bowling Green is a huge site so plenty of room for romps and chases. There is a maximum of 12 dogs on site each day so they will have lots of love and 1:1 attention.

Opening Times & Information

For the People (Closed on Weekends)

Monday – Friday

9:30am – 4pm

Many adults with learning disabilities and/or autism gain huge amounts of improvements to their well-being from being around dogs, although many can’t own a dog for various reasons.

There are so many benefits as all dog owners know; they get us out and about, show us unconditional love, calm us down, and give us absolute joy.

*There is an accessible entrance through the park for those that can’t manage our steps.

A Typical Day

For the People

The day will begin with a cup of tea and talk about what the day will bring, introducing dogs and people and pairing them up. I have had years of experience with dog training so we will have some fun doing some basic training and walking.

As The Dogs Squad is a Community Interest Company, it will use all profits to plough into the business. It has already been supported by Inga Lockington who part-funded the cost of the fencing through her locality budget – thanks Inga!
